In her chapter, Kim shares lessons shaped by more than three decades of entrepreneurship, including the courage to adapt, persevere and continue moving forward through uncertainty. Her story began at just 19 years old with $267 and handmade jewelry sold from a card table outside a New York City subway station, eventually growing into Bolufé Designs and the fashion and empowerment career she leads today.
Throughout her journey, Kim has navigated economic downturns, major changes in the fashion industry and the COVID-19 pandemic. When the pandemic interrupted the international travel central to many of her private styling appointments, she expanded Bolufé's digital presence and introduced live fashion shows.
